What are Essential Oils
These scents often also arouse emotions. Sometimes unpleasant, but usually pleasant. However, essential oils are much more than just a fragrance.
When we breathe in a molecule of an essential oil, it travels to our brain as a stimulus. When we smell a relaxing scent, our brains make substances that bring rest and relaxation to the body. Likewise, stimulant oils are translated into our body to make us feel more active and energized.
Essential oils can also help you detect (unconscious) emotions and help you process them.
Of course, the vibration also contributes (spiritual, energetic, healing), the scent itself (memory, which also causes a certain effect) and the actual composition in terms of ingredients that, for example, when you lubricate your body, enter the skin do their job there.
Essential oils are actually always diluted with water for a diffuser or with a carrier oil to apply directly to the skin.
