Products from the videos

I use the products listed below to make my plant medicines.
By using these or similar products you make it easier on yourself when brewing.
In the short explanation I describe what the product is for and what it does.

Ayahuasca “Do It Yourself”

Products from this series

Crock-Pot Multi coocker 5,6 Liters

This Crock-Pot can be set to time and temperature, which, in addition to making delicious food, is very useful when making Ayahuasca. By setting it, you no longer have to sit on top of it to prevent your brew from boiling. I usually turn it on in the evening and then I can go to sleep with peace of mind. The next morning it has cooled down and I can easily drain everything and start a new round. If you plan to make Ayahuasca more often, this is an investment that you will enjoy enormously and that is well worth the investment!

ChefAlarm professional coock thermometer

This thermometer is very useful if you want to know the exact temperature of a dish. With the probe you can even measure how hot it is in an oven up to a maximum temperature of 300°C.
You can set an alarm for the time and a minimum and maximum temperature to make sure everything goes as planned. I use it just to be safe side when brewing Ayahuasca in the Crock-Pot and for the final evaporation process on the stove. I definitely recommend this product!

Kitchen scale with 1gr accuracy

In addition to the plant material, I also weigh the water I add for brewing and I weigh the final drink (by subtracting the weight of the pan.) A dose of Ayahuasca in a drinkable amount is approximately 35ml. (on a scale this is about 35gr.)

Waterproof pH Tester

This is a very accurate PH meter. when brewing Ayahuasca, your brew must be between 3.7PH and 4PH to ensure that the DMT is properly absorbed in the fluid and that it does not become too acidic so that your drink is still drinkable. It is therefore necessary to be able to measure the PH level of your brew.

Food Grade Malic acid

This natural form of acid is extracted from 100% apples. You can of course also use vinegar, but that gives an extra flavor to your drink. I also find this powder form easier to dose.

Blender with glass jar

A good sturdy blender with a glass bowl is always nice in every household. Crushing hard leaves or bark requires a sturdy blender with steel blades. Of course you don’t just buy a blender for the Ayahuasca, but I highly recommend a glass bowl. Some blenders even have a heat element and can make hot soup with a push of a button!

Stainless Steel Stockpot

In a pan with a capacity of about 12 Quart you can easily combine all the liquid from the three rounds of brewed Ayahuasca. It is best to find the same size diameter as the colander has, so that pouring your Ayahuasca will be super easy. Close the lid after each addition and do not evaporate until all rounds are ready.

Stainless Steel colander

A colander made of stainless steel with a diameter of 5-Quart has an ideal size for pouring Ayahuasca. By placing a filter cloth in it, you make the mesh even smaller and your drink becomes clearer.

Cheesecloth

I use cheesecloths for sieving the Ayahuasca, but also for making water kefir and yogurt. By placing them in a colander you have your hands free to pour. I use the size 20×20 Inch.

Portable fan

When evaporating a large amount of liquid from the Ayahuasca, it is best to aim a small fan at the warm brew. By blowing the vapor away with this fan, the evaporation process speeds up up to 4X (compared to no fan)

Coffee Filter size 4

To make sure that the Ayahuasca is completely clean during the final sifting, you can use this coffee filter with size 4 paper filters. If you place the holder on a shelf with a hole in it, you can be sure that nothing falls over in the already filtered drink underneath and you have both hands free to pour.

Reverse Osmosis Water Filter

This is not necessary for brewing ayahuasca, but it will make your brew even purer. You can of course also use a different filter system, buy purified water or boil the water first. I think reverse osmosis water is the best drinking water at the time we live now and it also ensures that 99% of the chemicals that could still be in the water are removed.

Medicinal Cannabis Oil

Products from this series

Blender with glass jar

A good sturdy blender with a glass bowl is always nice in every household. Crushing hard leaves or bark requires a sturdy blender with steel blades. Of course you don’t just buy a blender for the Ayahuasca, but I highly recommend a glass bowl. Some blenders even have a heat element and can make hot soup with a push of a button!

French Press Coffee Maker 34 Ounce

This coffee press is ideal for separating the first amount of plant material from the alcohol. By doing this step first you have much less material left over that goes through a coffee filter at the 2nd sieve, so that it runs faster.

Food grade Alcohol

Sometimes it is quite difficult to get good drinkable alcohol for a reasonable price.

Oven Bake Dish 5 quart

The evaporation process of the alcohol from the cannabis paste is easiest and much faster if the surface of the liquid is large (I use a 5 quart dish).

1oz Glass Bottles with Droppers

In my experience, bottles with a size of 2/3oz – 1oz. The easiest. They will hold about 500 – 750 drops and the weed oil is easy to dose under the tongue thanks to the Eye Dropper. The full bottles that you do not need at the moment are best kept in the refrigerator.

Glass Dropper

To fill the bottles you can suck up the oil with a straw, but it is much easier and more hygienic to use these pipette tubes. by pressing and releasing the rubber top, you suck the liquid in and you can squeeze it empty into the bottles. It is also easy to see how much goes into the bottle.

Organic Hemp Seed Oil

You can use this quality hemp seed oil to make an oil from the cannabis paste. You can of course also use plain olive oil, or another oil of your choice, but by using hemp seed oil, the product will remain 100% cannabis.
